I know how you feel

I know how you feel.  I’ve been there myself.

Before my professional certifications, before I chose to devote my life to helping women achieve better health, I was sick.  I’m talking life-altering sick.  In middle school, I was diagnosed with anxiety and depression.  High school saw the development of IBS, and my post-college years brought a debilitating digestive problem that resulted in the loss of my period, my sleep and anything remotely resembling a good-quality life.

Just like the clients I’ve treated, I did the hard work and made the necessary lifestyle changes.  I didn’t expect someone to miraculously appear before me, wave a magic wand and make it all better.  Why?  Because I value my health and strongly believe that while miracles are immediate, healing takes time.

You can guess what happened next.  Doctor appointment after doctor appointment.  No answers.  Feeling my health decline despite doing all the “right” things.  I also felt an alarming lack of validation, sanity and hope.

While searching for ways to heal my body and mind, I established a multi-layered education as a Nationally Board-Certified Massage Therapist, Certified Craniosacral Therapist and Functional Diagnostic Nutrition Practitioner.
